  • Hand picked and tonally superior woods
  • Single piece of well-quartered mahogany neck which features: adjustable truss rod, ebony fingerboard, high-grade frets, position markers inlaid in abalone shell, hand rubbed oil finish, (Tung oil finish standard. High gloss finish: add $125.00) wood truss rod cover, headplate and standard "James Fry" inlay.
  • Hand made ebony bridge, with ebony bridge pins
  • Wood binding around whole body with wood inlayed tail end piece
  • Hand crafted and polished compensated bone nut and saddle for ultimate tone and intonation.
  • High gloss finish on body
  • High quality German made Schaller chrome tuners
  • Soundhole rosette inlayed with abalone shell
  • Black, Clear, or Tortis shell Pickguard
  • Standard custom-fitted hardshell case constructed by Datt Cases, (Custom case options are extra. Exterior is black, interior comes in black, navy, or green)
  • Shipping and handling is extra and will be added to your total as soon as it is determined.

Woods offered for tops  
Sitka Spruce:
The color of Sitka spruce ranges from white to pink to light brown.
For Master grade Add $100.00
Engleman Spruce:
Engelmann has a beautiful ivory sheen and occasionally shows some pink streaking. Lighter looking than the Sitka.

Adirondack Spruce:
Adirondack Red spruce was used for the tops on many of the great pre-war (now vintage or collectible) American guitars. Many guitar makers today believe that this wood is a significant contributing factor to the strong, clear tone of those older instruments. Has a slight redish tint to it. Unavailable in a master grade. For this choice

Redwood has a rich, reddish brown color. Warm tonal qualities. A good match with rosewood, adds depth in the mids and bass tones. Available only with certain back and sides combinations. For this choice,

Back and sides wood offered :: Standard options
East Indian Rosewood:
The color ranges from red to light brown with golden streaks, but more often runs to various shades of purple-brown (which eventually oxidizes to a rich brown color). Great depth and "punch". Rich mids and lows...
Known as California or bay laurel, or Oregon myrtle, or pepper-wood, it ranges in color from blond-yellow to taupe, and makes very nice guitars. It has great projection qualities and offers a bright sound. A cross between maple and rosewood.

Califonia Walnut:
With its rich brown color and occasional black streaks, walnut produces a striking instrument with a crisp, dry tone and a strong fundamental.

Big Leaf Quilted Maple:
Maple is the traditional wood for instruments of the violin family, and is well known for its use in carved back instruments as well as flat back instruments. It can range in color from ivory, to pink, to tan. Bright, crisp sound with allot of highs and mids.

Hawaiian Koa:
With colors ranging from brown to gold with rich and varying grain, koa looks as exotic as the region its from. Bright highs and rich mids

Brazilian Rosewood:
In 1991 Brazilian rosewood was placed on the endangered species list. Only wood certified to be cut and exported from Brazil could be done so legally. A much sought after wood for its beauty and tonal qualities, its rarity makes it quite a bit more expensive.
